DevianTart post from team
Immediately when I saw AlexanderPaupoff invitational
I thought to myself, I will like to do something equirectangular. And I admit I changed my design two times, not because I didn't like the other two but my desires grew. So I wanted to make a tutorial. And I wanted to represent all seasons as all seasons are always in concert.
So here is the tutorial part first.
I made the following image
But to truly get at the lesson look at the following variant. This is the image above but in an equirectangular image interpreter, using a held mouse click you can rotate.
Now you can see how the flat image above operates as the surface of a sphere.
With that you can go forward and play with it more. I placed other images in my equirectangular folder to help with guidance.
Then I made my invitation
And I then colored it. I admit an earlier had a mandala surrounded by content. But I found myself unable to do that with the four seasons. So I worked on the four seasons. And with color.
And the following is how it look as the surface of a sphere
All four seasons bound by Ra, the sun. All a mirror to each other. Four matching circles each their own color in a sphere.
Happy Holi!
team has a new badge to earn so check it out but I figured let me showcase various female artists on deviantart depictions of women. I can't get to them all, but at least twelve, one for each month of the year, a women's history is all year, is a nice gesture.
And yeah I said twelve but these came up along the viewing way, so I put them in anyway
Thank you to @rtnightmare+ @dieffi
for honoring @thanasianightfall + myself
A pretty old saying exist. I rather be happy than sad. I think that is true for most of us humans. And I admit I am fortunate. I was raised surrounded by happiness in the home and in the larger community outside of it. The arts was always an open minded thing when i was a child.
I merely carried that positivity into how i see /interact with the arts today. No long speech but just some words. We artists are differed by experiences by talent. But, we each have a place of creating that is one with our soul. If you know that place, never let it go. I didn't say don't try other things or try to create things you are unused to. But, never stop creating where you are most comfortable. And if you don't know a place of comfort. Keep creating, you will find it.
Always Be Creating.
